OdySea Aquarium | Scottsdale, AZ

This flagship project is the Largest aquarium in the Southwest, featuring more than 50 exhibits with a concrete frame construction.  The general contractor, McCarthy Building Companies, completed construction of the 200,000 square-foot OdySea Aquarium, located at the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Construction of the aquarium, the largest in the Southwest, began in March 2015 and was completed in only 18-months.

Poised to be one of Arizona’s premiere attractions, the OdySea Aquarium offers unrivaled marine adventures with a high-tech, high-entertainment, oceanic educational journey like no other in the industry. The 14-acre attraction with two public exhibit levels and a third level for aquarium operations was designed to accommodate over 10,000 visitors daily.

In addition, we provided leadership and recommendations towards schedule enhancements and a phased owner-turnover process.
