Project Description

Loma Linda University Medical Center; Campus Transformation | Loma Linda, CA

McCarthy Building Companies is the general contractor on this $813,000,000, state of the art and highly complex Loma Linda University Medical Center Children’s Hospital Replacement project. The main project includes a new 720,000 SF replacement of critical care, acute care, and related support spaces. An additional 500,000 SF will be decommissioned for adapted reuse once the existing hospital is vacated.

This project includes over 25,000 tons of structural steel to accommodate a very complex and robust design where McCarthy awarded the fabrication and erection to Schuff Steel.

banded 6•11® is providing consulting services to McCarthy and the Loma Linda construction management group to provide oversight and assistance in the management of the complex structural steel fabrication. Our services include, but are not limited to, schedule management, team alignment with multiple parties, and the development of a collaborative and unified approach; all to help ensure the overall project deliverables are successful.
